The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce that Bob Fairbairn has joined the Chamber team as Director of Membership Engagement. In this role, he will connect with organizations interested in joining the Chamber and share the benefits that come along with membership. In addition, Bob will work with current Chamber members to ensure these organizations are getting everything they can from their partnership.

“We are excited to welcome Bob Fairbairn to the Chamber’s Membership team,” said Justin Lee, Senior Vice President of Membership and Corporate Partnerships. “With his extensive knowledge and experience within the business community and the Chamber, Bob will be a great resource to our current and future members.”

Prior to joining the Chamber team, Bob spent 17 years working in employee benefits. During his time in the space, Bob worked to learn about clients’ challenges and connect them with solutions that best fit their needs. Before joining the Chamber team, Bob was an active member of the Chamber, leading to an outstanding understanding of how membership can positively impact an organization.

Bob is originally from Bethesda, Maryland and earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston. If you spent time in the D.C. area, you may recognize Bob’s voice from his days as a sports talk radio host! Bob, his wife and two daughters currently call Mount Pleasant home.
