The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Allison Green as the Chamber’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In her role, Allison will be responsible for generating meaningful connections and support to shape the future of the Charleston region by aligning civic leaders, Board of Directors and civic entrepreneurs. Green comes to the Chamber from Atlanta, Georgia where most recently she was the Senior Director of Philanthropy at Insight Global. Prior to this, she spent 7 years with Habitat for Humanity International, building the cause marketing platform and corporate partnerships portfolio. Overall, Allison has 15 years of experience in building purpose-led partnerships and strategic campaigns.
Allison is a native of Denver, Colorado, where she attended University of Colorado, Boulder and received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Mass Communications from the School of Journalism. She has a passion for travel, is a certified ToP® meeting facilitator and loves helping groups gain alignment, vision and direction. The oldest of seven children, Allison now resides in Charleston with her husband of 13 years and their two mischievous pups who love spending time on the beach.
The Strategic Partnerships department has been established with sights set on engaging with partners to address the specific challenges that impact our region and opportunities for collaboration in order to create a better future for everyone in our communities. To join in these efforts, Katie Istnick, a Chamber team member for over a decade, has been promoted to a new role as Associate Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
