The Chamber is excited to announce that nominations are officially open for the 2025 Honors awards. Each year, we celebrate the outstanding organizations and individuals who make our business community thrive. This is your chance to recognize the exceptional work being done around us.
Chamber members are invited to nominate a deserving organization or individual. Nominations will be accepted through January 31, 2025.
Organizations and companies can be nominated in more than one category, with only one nomination required for consideration. A panel of previous award recipients will review all nominations and select the winners.
All nominees and nominators must be current Chamber members
All nominees must have completed at least one year of membership by February 1, 2025
Organizations and individuals may be nominated for multiple categories, with a new nomination submitted for each category.
The Honors Awards recognize excellence across a variety of categories:
Business of the Year This award recognizes an organization known for long-standing excellence, who has demonstrated business success for 20+ years and showcases a deep dedication for advancing the business community and Charleston region.
Small Business of the Year This award recognizes an outstanding small business that has demonstrated value in community engagement, entrepreneurship, employee relations, leadership and performance. This small business has generated success by implementing creative and innovative strategies.
Non-Profit of the Year This award is presented to a local non-profit organization who is dedicated to serving the needs of our region. This non-profit has made a considerable impact in enhancing lives and our community.
Innovator of the Year This award recognizes a business or leader that has created a cutting-edge product or service that has impacted their industry/region or someone that has grown or reshaped their business in a significant and meaningful way.
Diversity Champion of the Year This award recognizes a business or leader who is committed to creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace and/or community. This champion has had an undeniable impact to ensure everyone in our community has the opportunity to live, learn and earn.
Community Impact Champion This award recognizes a business or leader who has exhibited a commitment to the community by demonstrating an active leadership role through their involvement in business, civic and social service organizations.
One to Watch This award recognizes an individual rising through the ranks with outstanding professional, personal and leadership success in the business community while contributing time and energy to advancing the Charleston region.

Mark your calendars for The Honors on March 20, 2025, at the Dock Street Theater, where we will celebrate the winners in each category. Tickets will go on sale January 20, 2025.
The Joseph P. Riley Leadership Award
In addition to the seven categories above, we will also present the prestigious Joseph P. Riley Leadership Award. This award celebrates an outstanding community volunteer who has demonstrated a lifetime of leadership and is doing extraordinary work to strengthen our community.
