Yes! Participants can enroll if they are still in high school; however, must have secured their diploma and graduated before starting an LCC training program.
Yes! LCC is designed to support individuals already working in healthcare and those interested in entering the healthcare field.
LCC offers tuition assistance for current and new students in four healthcare training programs.
The length of the training program varies by training provider and student. The average length of time for program completion is listed.
Training locations vary, but most are available in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester Counties and offer in-person and virtual classes.
All training providers require background checks and drug tests.
LCC has partnered with many healthcare employers throughout Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties. While we cannot guarantee you a job, we will continue to advocate for LCC graduates and promote our partners’ open positions that align with the LCC training programs.
The availability of employee training programs will vary by employee. Job seekers are encouraged to ask prospective employers what training programs they provide, and whether or not tuition reimbursement is offered.
Training programs are offered at little to no cost to LCC participants. Students will work with career coaches to discuss the financial and social support services available to them.
LCC offers participants a range of support services, including transportation, childcare payment assistance, and record expungement. Additional support services may be made available on an as-needed basis.
Yes! Participants can receive support from LCC if already enrolled in a healthcare training program. This support can include tuition support and a range of support services.
