On April 25–26, 19 leaders representing local governments and both private and public sector organizations traveled to Spartanburg and Greenville, South Carolina, to learn how organizations in the upstate have approached issues related to a lack of attainable housing while populations continue to increase.
Throughout the overnight trip, a common theme of collaboration and knowledge sharing was seen as Lowcountry leaders were able to learn from our upstate neighbors and one another.
Thank you to the organizations that sent representatives to this transformation program, to sponsors for their dedicated support of attainable housing and to the organizations from Spartanburg and Greenville who shared their wealth of knowledge with those in attendance.
